Handkerchief
The Kappa Handkerchief is a tradition that helps keeps Kappa with you after your college years. The hankerkerchief
is to be carried by Kappa brides on their wedding day as part of the "Something old, something new, somthing borrowed,
something blue" tradition. It is something borrowed that other sisters before have carried. The current handerchief was
made by Jane Lightner, grandmother of alumni Robyn Henry. Actives or Alumni interested in using the handkerchief
can contact Nicole Kaitsa Carleton.

Additional Traditions
Kappa has many other traditions that have continued over the years. Some of these includecoming together to help
with novelty and final rush parties, activities such as OB nights, and ceremonies such as activation. Kappa has a sorority
hymn, sung at the close of every meeting along with cheers and chants that make us known across campus.

Pledging
Each year, Kappa is proud to take on a new group of girls during pledging. The pledges learn our traditions and
history, get to know the active chapter, and become a sister to all. Check out our pledging page for more phtotos.
